Silvia Matitimel Mikusova Silvia Mikusova has over 20 years of experience in clinical and public health practice in Africa, including HIV/AIDS prevention & care and treatment and maternal and child health (MCH). Her experience also encompasses program management, assessment, design, implementation, capacity building, guideline development, M&E and advocacy.
Silvia is certified in Pediatrics by Slovak Postgraduate Academy of Medicine and obtained her Doctor of Medicine degree from Charles University in Prague.
Currently, she is the Senior Infectious Diseases Advisor at USAID Mozambique. Prior to working with USAID, she worked as a Technical Director at EGPAF Mozambique and in the several MSF Projects.
