You are a representative of a university, hospital, or educational institute.

Academia from Resource-Limited Settings (RLS)

Academia from Resource-Limited Settings (RLS) will get a 50% discount on the current applicable registration fee.
RLS Countries are countries included in the low-income and middle-income economies list of the World Bank Classification

Academia from the Host Country (Uganda)

Academia from Uganda can register for the reduced fee of 30 EURO.

Young Investigators

We are pleased to offer registration discounted registration to Young Investigators.

To be eligible for the Young Investigator’s registration fee discount, one should be 35 years of age or younger or be a current Master/PhD/MD student/resident or have obtained a MD/PhD/PharmD degree in the last ten years.

For registration fee discount, an application form needs to be completed by a supervisor and received by the conference secretariat at least 2 weeks prior to the start of the conference (magda.sevlidou@amededu.com).

The conference secretariat will reply to the young investigator with instructions regarding registration for the conference once the application has been received.

Accepted Abstract

Registration will be waived for all abstract submitters with an accepted abstract. Please only register after you have received the outcome of your abstract submission.

Industry fee

This fee is applicable if you are a representative of a commercial institute.
If your company is sponsoring this event, you may be eligible for a discount on the registration fee. For more information, contact the Conference Secretariat (
magda.sevlidou@amededu.com), or your company representative for commercial support.

The registration includes

  • Access to all scientific sessions, including the poster area.
  • Coffee breaks and lunches
  • Conference bag, including the programme book.

Please note:

  • No day rates are available.
  • Payments should preferably be made by credit card, however, we do also accept bank transfers. Please contact the conference secretariat for more information (magda.sevlidou@amededu.com).

Cancellation policy

In case of cancellation the following refunds are applicable:
Cancellation before 10 April 2022: 50% refund (minus an administration fee of € 40).
Cancellation on/after 10 April 2022: Unfortunately, no refund will be given.

Should you be unable to attend the conference, a substitute delegate is always welcome at no extra charge provided that a letter of authorization from the original participant has been received and the conference secretariat has been notified of the name of the substitute delegate before 1 April 2022. A statement (email/letter) of your cancellation must be sent to Magda at magda.sevlidou@amededu.com.

Media registration

In order to register as a media participant for the conference, the conference secretariat needs to receive proof of accreditation. A reduced registration fee may apply for accredited media participants. Please contact the conference secretariat for registration conditions. A final program/abstract book will be provided on-site. The deadline for application is 1 April 2022 .

NB: Media is restricted to the written press. Recording on film or photo is not allowed. We would like to receive a copy of your conference report once it is finalised. Accreditation may take the form of a photocopy of official press credentials or a letter verifying assignment to the conference on the stationary of the media organisation concerned.

Freelance journalists should submit copies of three (3) byline articles on HIV and/or hepatitis in addition to an official letter of assignment. Newsletter writers and editors must submit three (3) issues of their newsletter containing at least one byline article on HIV and/or hepatitis by the applicant. All credentials will be verified by the International Conference Committee of the conference. Media participants may not register online but are requested to send the above-mentioned information to magda.sevlidou@amededu.com.

Liability and Insurance

By registering for the conference, participants agree that the organisers do not accept responsibility for medical-, travel-, or personal insurance. Participants are advised to take out their own insurance policies.
