Sibongile Kubheka Dr. Sibongile Kubheka completed her medical degree at Wits Medical School. As “a proud Sowetan” born at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital, she completed her internship and community service at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Hospital. She went further to work as a medical doctor in the United Kingdom. Upon her return from working in the United Kingdom, she joined the Reproductive Health and HIV Research Unit (Wits RHI). She continues to be passionate in contributing towards the research and drug development in the fight against HIV.
Dr. Kubheka joined the pharmaceutical industry and has over 15 years of experience in this industry. She is currently the Europe and International Access Countries Medical Director at ViiV Healthcare. As a medical doctor, she also has a Masters Degree in Clinical Pharmacology (MPharmMed) and an Executive MBA.
