Morkor Newman Owiredu

Morkor NEWMAN OWIREDU is a Medical officer, leading the work on elimination of mother to child transmission (EMTCT) of HIV, syphilis and hepatitis B virus, and women’s health in HIV within the Treatment and Care team of the Global HIV, Hepatitis and STI programs in WHO Geneva.
She formerly worked in the Africa Regional Office for WHO and has extensive experience in communicable disease prevention and control, HIV and STI programming, particularly EMTCT in high burden countries as well as reproductive, maternal, neonatal and child health programs.
